Thank you for your interest in The Awen Project. We have been running a free-to-attend, democratic learning community of about 20 students for over two years and have developed a clear idea of how we can expand our impact without losing touch with our community roots.

Our aim is to pioneer a new model for education that is democratic, free-to-attend, and human-centred. Our vision is to co-create a network of learning communities throughout the world that empower young people by providing conditions conducive to learning (rather than teaching), that supports families to facilitate their children’s education.

We are currently considering applications for new students aged between 10 and 13 to join our community in Dinas Powys.
